ℹ Create Your Vibration ℹ
📋 LifePod Parameter Guide
Understand how each setting shapes your vibro-acoustic soundscape.
🎛️ Frequency (Hz) & Fine-Tuning
Set the base frequency for your LifePod session from 1–500 Hz.
• Lower frequencies (40–100 Hz) deliver optimal physical resonance through the LifePod tactile transducers.
• Use the Slider or Up/Down arrows (▲ / ▼) next to the input field for quick, precise single-Hz adjustments.
🎧 Audio Preview
Test your sequence structure in real-time before generating the final file.
• Preview Mode: Plays a pure synthetic tone sequence matching your current timing, swap, and pause settings.
• No Background Melody: The preview focuses purely on the vibration pattern — background music is omitted for precise timing evaluation.
• Headphones Recommended: Built-in smartphone or laptop speakers cannot reproduce frequencies below 80 Hz. Please use headphones or a transducer setup to hear low frequencies.
🔊 Profile & Background Melody
Select how the frequency is played through the up and down transducer positions:
- Tone: Pure frequency played continuously on both audio channels.
- Swap Tone: Alternates the tone between the two channels, creating an alternating up-down vibration movement across the body.
- Up / Down Tone: Creates a smooth frequency glide in one position only — upward or downward.
- 🎵 Background Melody (Checkbox): Check this option to layer your pure vibration sequence with a relaxing background ambient track in the final generated WAV file.
⏱️ Duration-Pattern — Swap Tone
These settings determine how the vibration sequence is structured:
- Swap Duration: Sets the duration of each individual tone interval.
- Pattern: Determines how many times the tone is repeated in the same direction before changing direction.
Example: Duration 5 seconds, Pattern 5×, no pause
▀│▀│▀│▀│▀▄│▄│▄│▄│▄ 🔁
This creates 5 Up intervals followed by 5 Down intervals. The complete pattern is then repeated.
⏸️ Pause Options — Swap Tone
Pauses can be inserted at different points within the pattern. This means that the same Duration and Pattern settings can produce very different sequences.
1. No Pause
Duration: 5 seconds | Pattern: 5× | Pause: Off
▀│▀│▀│▀│▀▄│▄│▄│▄│▄ 🔁
2. Pause After Block ▲▼
Duration: 5 seconds | Pattern: 5× | Pause: After complete Up + Down block
▀│▀│▀│▀│▀▄│▄│▄│▄│▄ ║
The pause comes after the complete 5× Up + 5× Down block.
3. Pause After Up / Down ▲/▼
Duration: 5 seconds | Pattern: 5× | Pause: After each Up and Down pattern
▀│▀│▀│▀│▀ ║ ▄│▄│▄│▄│▄ ║
The pause comes after the 5× Up pattern and again after the 5× Down pattern.
4. Pause After Each Tone ■║■
Duration: 5 seconds | Pattern: 5× | Pause: After each tone interval
▀ ║ ▀ ║ ▀ ║ ▀ ║ ▀ ║ ▄ ║ ▄ ║ ▄ ║ ▄ ║ ▄ ║
The pause comes between every individual tone interval.
Important: Pattern and Duration work together. 1 × 60 seconds is not the same as 2 × 30 seconds, because a Pattern of 2× creates two separate tone intervals, and a pause can be inserted between them.
📊 Sequence Length & Calculations
The generator creates the vibration sequence within an available audio frame of approximately 145 seconds.
The maximum values of individual parameters are designed to be used either individually or in balanced combinations that stay within this time frame. Setting all parameters to maximum simultaneously would exceed the sequence capacity.
| Scenario | Swap Duration | Pause | Pattern | Total Time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Shortest | 5 s | 0 s | 1× | 10 s |
| Pattern Maximum | 5 s | 5 s | 5× | 100 s |
| Pause Maximum | 5 s | 60 s | 1× | 130 s |
| Duration Maximum | 60 s | 5 s | 1× | 130 s |
Note: Total time is calculated for a full dual-channel cycle (Up + Down).
💾 Generated Files
The generator creates one WAV audio file and one JPG image from the selected parameters.
- WAV: Contains the complete programmed vibration sequence ready for playback.
- JPG: Provides a visual representation of the generated sequence and its selected parameters.
▶️ Playback
The generated WAV file contains the complete programmed sequence.
For continuous playback, set the Repeat / Loop function in the LifePod Player.
The sequence will repeat automatically until playback is stopped.
